Whether you are trying something new or remembering old hand-building skills, join us at our studio to experience the art of pinch, coil, and slab techniques.
In this multi-week course, you’ll be guided by Kathy as you explore a variety of hand-building techniques in clay. You’ll create a unique niche or wall hanging, learn to form beautiful coils to design a bowl or dish, and sculpt small pinch-pot animal figures. You’ll also make a set of 4–6 tiles and learn several surface design techniques. In the final week, we’ll learn glazing methods and glaze our bisque-fired pieces, which will be fired and ready to enjoy for years to come.

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on
Work is ready to pick up about 2 weeks after the last class
