Ceramic Snack Tray Workshop
A Two-Part Handbuilding Experience
Session One: Design & Carving
Begin your journey by creating a one-of-a-kind ceramic grazing tray designed specifically for how you snack and share. Using a prepared clay slab, you’ll be guided through a thoughtful, step-by-step process to:
Conceptualize a personalized grazing layout
Shape and refine the tray’s form
Hand-carve individualized sections for snacks, dips, or small bites
This session emphasizes intentional design and customization with lots of carving fun. No prior ceramic experience is required.
Session Two: Glazing & Finishing
After your piece has been bisque fired, you’ll return to complete the transformation. In this session, you will:
Select from a curated range of glaze colors and finishes
Learn glazing techniques to suit your piece
Apply glaze to create a food-safe, functional final piece
Your tray will undergo a final firing and be ready for pickup once complete in about 2 weeks.
Beginner friendly
Saturday April 4 & Saturday April 18th
10am-12pm
Wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy.
