A Self-Led Creative Studio Experience

Enjoy our new ceramic studio by choosing one of two self-led creative activities. Both options offer a relaxed, social atmosphere with guidance available as needed.

Option 1: Watercolor Painting
Create a watercolor painting using written step-by-step instructions, high quality, pigmented watercolor paints, and 100% cotton paper. You will choose one of three options when you arrive. This is a calm, beginner friendly experience designed for creativity and conversation.

Option 2: Hand-Built Ceramics
Choose one of three hand-building projects and form your own one-of-a kind ceramic piece using step-by step instructions. Clay and tools provided and a we will give you a choice of glazes to choose from when you are finished. Your work will be fired and glazed by Clay Works.

  • Tuesday 1-3pm

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy

  • Tea and bottled water

  • No prior experience required.

  • A Clay Works person will be nearby for any assistance you may need but this is not a formal class

  • For ceramic pieces-we will contact you by email for pick up in about 2 weeks.

Simple, quick, accessible 'acts of art' can enhance your life. In the same way you might exercise to lower cholesterol and increase serotonin in the brain, just twenty minutes of doodling can provide immediate support for your physical and mental state."— Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross, Your Brain on Art
