This class provides the essentials of working on the pottery wheel or provides the next steps for those with previous wheel experience. Over four sessions, you’ll learn how to center clay, pull walls, and shape simple forms such as bowls and mugs. Jess will gladly provide extra challenges and techniques for those with previous wheel experience. (You may even come with a project in mind). Instruction also covers trimming, surface finishing, and glazing techniques. Beginners welcome!
By the end of the course, you’ll complete several finished pieces. All materials, tools, and firings are provided. No prior experience required.
