Learn the art of hand-building while making different vases.
Learn the art of hand-building with Emily through a specially designed, four-week ceramic workshop dedicated to the form of the vase. Over four sessions, you will transition from pinch-pot form-making to structured geometric design. You will begin with the organic, tactile experience of sculpted pinch vessels, move to pliable soft-slab shapes, and finally the excitement of a completely different experience of hard slab construction. The last class culminates in a discussion on about glazing techniques and application, which will transform your collection of vases in the their final firing.
Those with previous experience may expand each project with help and direction from Emily.
